Open house & coffee with Ponoka Town Council

PONOKA- The public is invited to have Coffee with Council on Wednesday, May 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at a Public Open House at the Kinsmen Community Centre.

The open house itself runs from 2 to 7 p.m.

Come grab a coffee and chat with Council members and learn more about some of the town’s initiatives such as:

– A presentation of a draft plan of the Downtown Action Plan and Revitalization.

– The new Community Wellness Centre recreation multiplex being planned for the existing Arena site in Ponoka.

   Come and view preliminary design drawings for the project, which is to be built in stages beginning with a new field house.

– The Community Learning Centre to be built on the old hospital site at the north end of 50 St.

   The Town has signed a lease agreement for about 28,000 square feet of space in a new three-storey building to be constructed on the site.
